Similar in nature to crowns and bridges, dentures resemble a tooth or a set of teeth but are removable and easy to clean. Dentures come in two types, partial and full. Full dentures are used when all the teeth in the jaw are missing, while partial dentures are used when some teeth are missing and others remain. They can be made of plastic, metal or a combination of both and usually have metal clasps that grip or rest on your teeth to hold the denture in place.
