Ioana has been working in the dental industry for over 20 years, starting as a Dental Technician in her home country of Romania. In 2004, she challenged herself by moving to New Zealand and managed to perfect her skills in Denture Construction. After relocating to Australia in 2012 Ioana decided to upskill and attained her qualification to be a registered Dental Prosthetist. Ioanas passion is creating quality and individualised dentures to make every patient leave the practice with a confident and unique smile.
In her free time Ioana loves reading, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Jamie grew up on the Western Darling Downs on a sheep, cattle and grain farm, but has lived in Norman Park for the last 10 years. Before graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science, Jamie was an airline pilot with Qantas Airways, flying the Boeing 747’s on international routes. He still has a keen interest in aviation and enjoys travel with his family.
He is a science fiction fan and has an interest in woodworking. Jamie has three children and while family is his main focus, he enjoys working with cars and has restored a classic mini.
Jamie aims to provide personalised care to his patients by giving all options available so they can make informed decisions. He is diligent in keeping up to date with the latest techniques available. He has a keen interest in implants and is a member of the ADA Queensland Branch.
Meet Rohit- our registered Dental Practitioner, an Oral Health Therapist
with over seven years of experience. Rohit has experience in working at
both high need’s public dental as well as private practices across Australia
and New Zealand. Rohit is originally from New Zealand and has completed
his Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Otago (2013). He moved to
Melbourne, Australia (2016) in order to expand his scope of practice by completing his post graduate qualifications and to evolve as a clinician.
Rohit is a gentle, friendly and experienced clinician and is very passionate
about his adult scope and brings a strong set of restorative skills to the practice.
Rohit also has a special interest in Preventative, Cosmetic and Paediatric
Dentistry- has a good skill set in managing and providing treatment for children of all ages. Rohit is very comprehensive and is well versed in identifying, preventing and treating Periodontal (gum) disease and tooth decay. He ensures that his patients understand their health condition as a whole and are not just here for a clean. Patient education is a priority on his agenda.
During his time off work, he enjoys the beach, going to the gym,
spending time with his wife, trying different cuisines and trying
to desperately improve his DIY skills.
Faren is very excited about her new role at Bilby Dental! You will often find Faren in all aspects of the practice including assisting in surgery, sterilising instruments and happily greeting patients as they come through the door.
Faren is always determined to do her best and is always looking for ways to expand her knowledge of Dentistry. She loves getting to know her patients and strives to make everyone’s visit happy and memorable.
In her spare time Faren enjoys playing video games, taking her puppy ‘Chip’ out and spending time with loved ones.
